Short description
Zompocalypse is a low-poly co-op survival shooter built in Unreal Engine 5. Run missions out of Fort Crossroads into an infected city and get your squad back behind the wire alive.
Longer description
The outbreak took a weekend. The cordon closed with thousands still inside it, and what is left of the response force now works out of Fort Crossroads — a fortified depot holding the last road out.
Zompocalypse is built around small, specific jobs rather than escalating waves. Recover a radio. Clear a parking lot. Walk an EOD specialist to a device. Missions come from named survivors with branching dialogue, and every one of them is a round trip through a city that refills itself behind you — infected emerge from manholes, bins and containers as you pass, so the route in is never the route out.
More than twenty firearms, four grenade types, demolitions and a field kit of medkits, stims, navigation gear and deployable respawn beacons round out what you can carry.
Playable solo, considerably better with a squad. Forty-plus infected variants, from civilians to armoured police and turned soldiers, up to the Hulk — which does not care about your plan for the building.
